Sticky Holsters Big Mouth Option:

"Big Mouth" option has been discontinued as of July 7th, 2011.

After consulting with many instructors and self-defense tacticians, we have come to the conclusion that we want to encourage the removal of our holsters from the waistband while reholstering your weapon. This is a safer way to to reholster, regardless of the manufacturer of the IWB holster.

 

"Big Mouth" option is only available to LE/Military, upon direct special request. Thank you for your understanding.

 

It is essentially a spring that keeps the mouth of the holster from closing all the way, thus allowing the muzzle of the gun to get started back in the holster when re-holstereing. This works well when the the upper 1/4 of the holster is out of the waistband.
